Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Top of the Line Barber Academy (the "Service"), operated by Top of the Line, LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account, applying, or paying, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a licensed or actively training barber to apply for a seat.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@totlbarberacademy.com of any unauthorized use.

3. Membership tiers

• Foundation — public access tier.
• Pro — monthly subscription.
• Top of the Line — application-only founding seat with a $250 founding deposit governed by Section 5.

Pricing is shown at checkout. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.

4. Billing

Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due. Cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues to the end of the current period. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy.

5. Founding deposit

Founding deposits paid before September 8, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific are grandfathered under the terms presented at purchase: if accepted and activated, the $250 deposit is credited against the first $499 Top of the Line membership invoice; if not selected, it is refunded in full.

For founding deposits paid on or after September 8, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific, the $250 deposit is separate from membership. If accepted, the deposit is retained and the first membership invoice is $749 ($499 first month plus a $250 one-time first-month charge), followed by $499/month. If not selected, the $250 deposit is refunded in full.

6. Intellectual property

All curriculum, videos, templates, and materials are owned by Top of the Line, LLC and licensed to you for personal, non-transferable use during your active membership. You may not redistribute, resell, rebrand, or train AI systems on our content.

7. Acceptable use

Do not share your account, scrape the Service, abuse other members, or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate access for violations without refund.

8. Results disclaimer

Outcomes vary. We make no guarantees of income, client growth, or career results. The Service provides education and tools — execution is yours.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Top of the Line, LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Top of the Line, LLC, its officers, and contractors from any claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice.
